The Co-Cathedral of St. John’s Youth Ministry is committed to fostering the total personal and spiritual growth of each young person in our community by empowering them to live as disciples of Jesus Christ. We should Live In Faith Together!
Vacation Bible School
Vacation Bible School is a great way to encourage the faith in our young people ages 3 through those entering 6th grade. Additional opportunities for service and leadership are available for older students. Check back for information about VBS 2026!
Camp Summit
August 3-5 | $360
Registration for parishioners with a child entering grades 6-8
We would love for your middle schooler to join us at Camp Summit! Camp Summit is an overnight Catholic adventure camp for middle school youth entering grades 6-8. Nestled in the bluffs of Lanesboro, Minnesota, Camp Summit provides a fun, formative, and faith-filled experience for parish groups throughout the Diocese of Winona-Rochester. St. John's loves to bring a parish group and would love to share more information with you. Please reach out to Megan Rodriguez if you have a child interested in joining us for camp or if you are an adult interested in helping at Camp Summit! There are leadership opportunities for high school students. Any 9-12th grader interested in applying for leadership positions should contact Megan for more information.
Steubenville Youth Conference
Every summer in Rochester, high school students from all over gather at the Mayo Civic Center to encounter Jesus and grow in faith, fellowship, and friendship. The Conference will be taking place on July 10-12, 2025 and will cost $320. This is an amazing experience for young people and adults alike. Contact Megan directly for details needed to complete the registration form for the group. Chaperones are needed. Please contact us to find out more information and note that financial assistance may be available for chaperones and any family members they have attending. are interested in leading a small group of students.
