Our St. John's Community is here to walk with you in preparing for your child's baptism
and your family's ongoing journey of faith.

The preparation process for baptism includes:
Initial visit with Megan Rodriguez to discuss your desire to have your child baptized into the Catholic faith and plans for attending Baptism Formation.
Attending a Baptism Formation Session if this is your first child to be baptized at St. John's. Upcoming dates are posted on the calendar.
Celebrating the Sacrament of Baptism at one of the weekend Masses.
Baptism Formation Dates
All Baptism Formation classes are Tuesday evenings from 6:00-7:15pm in the Fellowship Area.
Babies are welcome to attend with you. Please check the calendar for upcoming dates.

If you are an adult or have a child over the age of 7 desiring to know more about baptism please contact Formation Director, Megan Rodriguez, to learn more about The Order of Christian Initiation for both Adults and Children (OCIA/RCIC).
What Happens After Baptism?
Sharing the faith with children can be a challenge. We want to help you take the first steps by offering a book and the opportunity to gather with other families who have recently Baptized a child. We offer Baptism and Beyond gatherings twice a year and invite you to check the bulletin or the online calendar for upcoming gatherings.
