Liturgical Ministry

We encourage parishioners to engage in active participation in the sacred rites of the Church. Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion, Lectors, Altar Servers, Sacristans, and Hospitality Ministers are all meaningful ways to serve.

Music Ministry

The Co-Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist places heavy emphasis on sacred music, the purpose of which is the glory of God and the sanctification of the faithful. Sacred music lifts our heart to the Mystery of God and so to the real nature and destiny of the whole of reality – an experience we can humbly begin to grasp now because of the incarnation of Christ and the gracious gift of His Spirit to the Church.

The Co-Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist is committed to the preservation, presentation and promotion of the highest quality of liturgical and sacred music.

    Prayer Ministry

Prayer is a foundational part of our parish. Each week, we host an hour of Eucharistic Adoration to pray for our community and the needs of the parish. Volunteering for Prayer Ministry is an opportunity to bring prayer to others in the community and to help others grow in prayer all while spending time in prayer.
