You said “yes” and stayed with Mary in a certainty of hope and openness as the way to discover truth and love: Jesus born in Bethlehem! Help us to recognize the presence of the word becoming flesh in all the circumstances of life. Help us to say “You” to Jesus as the only source of real happiness.

John the Evangelist and Mary, the Mother of Jesus
Loneliness pervades our culture, but Jesus never meant for us to be alone. He showed us the path to companionship and friendship by giving us the two disciples who teach us about this path: Mary his Mother and John his beloved!! They lived the relational life of the Gospel which is at the heart of the teachings of Jesus. We look at them and ask for the grace to live this open and vulnerable way of being true to our humanity. We beg for healing in front of the method of God.

Following the Church’s teachings, the Co-Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist has always had a deep interest in providing the best possible instruments for its worship space.
In the Latin Church the pipe organ is to be held in high esteem, for it is the traditional musical instrument which adds a wonderful splendor to the Church’s ceremonies and powerfully lifts up man’s mind to God and to higher things
