VBS Youth Leadership
Youth in grades 7-12 are grade are invited to participate as
Youth Leaders for VBS.
To make this a meaningful experience for our youth volunteers there will be a VBS track for them to grow in faith and servant leadership while serving the children participating in VBS. Please fully read and sign the Youth Volunteer Code of Conduct.
VBS Youth Leadership Schedule 8:30am-12:30pm each day
8:30am - Arrive, opening prayer/adoration and introduction of the days virtue
9:00am - Meet with adult volunteers for opening announcements
9:05am - At Stations to greet VBS campers
11:45am-12:00pm - Eat Lunch; discuss morning while eating
12:05pm-12:30pm Team Building game & activities and/or preparation for next day of VBS
*Please note exact times may be adjusted but any changes will be communicated ahead of time.
Please save these dates for Volunteer Meetings:
(youth need to be in attendance at one of the below in order to volunteer unless other arrangements are made with VBS Directors)
Setup Date (not required but encouraged for all who can attend): Wednesday, June 17th 9:00am-12:00pm (volunteers invited to stay for 12:10pm Mass)
Volunteer Meeting (required or please contact Megan Rodriguez to make alternative plans to go over youth leader/volunteer expectations): Friday, June 19th 11:00am-12:45pm (includes 12:10pm Mass).
