Advent: A Season of Preparation

We are all familiar with Advent as that vague and extra busy time prior to Christmas, but did you know that Advent is also a time to grow deeper in prayer? Christmas is the reception of the child Jesus, and so during Advent we prepare our hearts with prayer and acts of charity to better welcome the Christ-child into our hearts. Here are some opportunities for you to consider this season:

  • Sacraments

  • Reflection

  • Service
