St. John's Lent Schedule

Lent is that season in which we prepare for Easter, when we prepare for the celebration of Christ’s passion and death and prepare to follow Jesus on the path through death to resurrection and new life.

During Lent we practice the art of self discipline and penance, something that brings us back to what is more essential in our lives and helps us to think of those who have less. In prayer, fasting and almsgiving we are brought back to the essentials of our Catholic faith.

The Church of St. John the Evangelist invites you to explore these Lenten opportunities as a family, as an individual and as part of our faith community.
