Confirmation

“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” - Acts 1.8

Confirmation typically happens for 10th graders shortly after Easter. Preparation classes begin in January of the previous year when the confirmandi (those to be confirmed) are in 9th grade. Both Catholic and public school children need to register and attend the preparation classes. Please fill out this form by the end of August before the confirmandi begin 9th grade and return it to the parish office.

Adults, even those baptized in the Catholic Church, who have not been confirmed should participate in the RCIA.

Confirmandi

They are more perfectly bound to the Church by the sacrament of Confirmation, and the Holy Spirit endows them with special strength so that they are more strictly obliged to spread and defend the faith, both by word and by deed, as true witnesses of Christ.
